Summary

At Mashiba's corner, Mashiba's seconds prepare to stop his bleeding. As the Tōhō coach places a towel on Mashiba's face, he notices that something feels different from before, as while Mashiba is still heated, he is also cool at the same time. At Rosario's corner, the referee warns the corner that Rosario is fighting too roughly, telling him to watch his head and that he will be deducting points the next time he sees a foul. Rosario mutters that his timing was good, as he is able to step into the distance where he can hit Mashiba. He plans to adjust the trajectory of his punches to be sure he is able to shoot right through him. At Mashiba's corner, Mashiba's seconds were able to stop his bleeding. The Tōhō coach tells Mashiba that Rosario is not the kind of opponent he can deal with while protecting his wound, advising him to go for it if he thinks he can do it. Mashiba gets up from his chair and walks away, struggling to thank his coach, who was unable to understand what he said. As Rosario leaves his corner, Mr. Bin wonders if Rosario sees the path to victory. In the audience, Miyata asks Sawamura if he saw what happened right before the ending gong of the last round. Sawamura answers that he did, and it is concerning. The sixth round begins.
