Summary

As Ippo and Kumi fish, the latter comments to the former how whoever he marries won't have to worry about side dishes, but Ippo believes that person would get tired of only eating fish. Watching from afar, Taihei and Kintarō notices how Ippo's face gets red whenever he talks to Kumi and Miyata, wondering who his number one is. Ippo remembers what Mashiba told him the other night and wonders if Mashiba means that when he becomes world champion, he will give him permission to be with his sister. Kumi announces to Ippo what she wants to resolve herself and hear a professional's opinion of what Rosario is like. Ippo explains to her that there is no such thing as a weak world champion, so everyone challenging a them is in a fight of their lives. Having watched Rosario's videos many times, Ippo details that he can do almost anything, but at his core he is an in-fighter. He adds that his usual strategy is to rush towards his opponent, and while they are caught under that pressure, he breaks them down with brute force. He further adds that they both the exact opposite and worst match-up for each other, with Mashiba having the advantage at long range, and Rosario having an advantage at short range, the key will be the range and how long they can fight at their range. He believes that if Mashiba can keeps throwing jabs, he will be able to control the pace, but Rosario's step-in is incredibly strong and fast. Seeing Kumi looking down, Ippo claims that despite saying that it won't go smoothly, he still thinks Mashiba can win. Kumi just wants to know if Mashiba can come home safely, but Ippo states that he doesn't think that he can come back completely uninjured, but he believes he will come back as the world champion. Kumi claims that she wants to see the ocean.
