Summary

Mashiba and Rosario enters the ring. Miyata tells Sendō how Rosario has a history of rough fights. He explains that the moment the gong sounds, he swarms his opponents immediately, and his brawling ability is extraordinarily high. Miyata adds that since Rosario seems like the type to fight more instinctively, he decides to let Sendō analyse the fight. Ippo tells Kumi, Tanaka, and Rie that Rosario will want to end the match as early as possible due to his failed weight control, but if Mashiba lasts to the second half, then there is strong chance Mashiba can win. Aoki, Kimura, and Itagaki notices how the reach difference is more obvious when the two stand close to each other, thinking that the only strategy to go with is to keep Rosario at a distance, make him miss, and deplete his stamina. Both boxers stand near their corners as the gong sounds to begin the match.
