Summary
As the count continues with Hoshi laying on the canvas, Shinoda thinks Itagaki is just as surprised as anyone, he thinks that it is only natural. Itagaki realises that it is not that Hoshi didn't move, it just seemed like he wasn't. When Hoshi gets up and the round continues, he hits his legs to force them to be able to move as the damage affected his legs. Hoshi starts chasing Itagaki with big punches. Itagaki enjoys himself as he lets Hoshi's punches hit as close as they can without letting Hoshi touch him. Takamura explains to Aoki and Kimura that it is like Itagaki and Hoshi are running on different times, meaning that the amount of time their perceiving is different, so the way they see things is different. Takamura compares it to things looking different while being in a high speed vehicle, where the people inside the car seem to be moving in super slow motion compared to everything else outside. Kamogawa asks Shinoda when did he realise what was going on with him. Shinoda explains that it was at the East Japan Rookie King Tournament finals where he realised his potential was being tapped into during that match. He adds that Itagaki coming out of spars unscathed against Mashiba helped confirm that the genie is out of the bottle.
