Summary

As the audience is excited to see a super middleweight match, Kimura asks of Miyata's opinion. Miyata feels as if the super middleweight class is the ideal fusion point of speed and power after watching Takamura and Dragon fight, as he notes that seeing someone move as fast as they do at their size with powerful punches can take one's breath away. Kimura asks Miyata what he thinks will happen in the later rounds, however, Miyata doesn't know, but he senses something odd about the match. At Takamura's corner, Kamogawa asks Takamura about the condition of Dragon. Takamura answers that Dragon is strong, but believes that he can get stronger if he gets serious. As Kamogawa assumes that Takamura means that Dragon has higher gears to shift to, Takamura reassures him that all that matters is that he is stronger than Dragon. At Dragon's corner, he is asked of his thoughts on Takamura by his coach. Dragon expresses how he did not anticipate that Takamura would be so strong and that coming up with a strategy against him was pointless. While his coach points out that Takamura loses stamina in the later rounds as seen in the videos they watched and advises to do as plan and defeat him later, Dragon reassures him that it is fine. As he gets ready to leave the corner, Dragon acknowledges how Takamura is a rough, but solid boxer, and that he has him mostly figured out, while Takamura considers on just knocking Dragon out in the second round.
