Lisa (リサ, Risa) is the girlfriend of Alfredo González.

History

Part II

Go to the World Arc

As Lisa and Alfredo went through a crowded market street to reach the park with a great view of the city, Alfredo grabbed a young boy who stole food and took him with him to apologise together. When they reach the park's viewpoint, Lisa listened to Alfredo's reflection of how he used to be like that boy and his memories of Ricardo Martínez. Lisa tried to get Alfredo to stop obsessing with the WBA title, and aim for a different organisation, but Alfredo still wanted to go for it.

Later, Lisa watched the plane Alfredo went on to leave for Japan for his upcoming match against Ippo Makunouchi. As Alfredo fought Ippo, Lisa was met by Ricardo, who mentioned how the boy Alfredo is fighting uses a powerful technique. She immediately asked if he knows him. Whether or not that's the case he noted that he knows how strong Alfredo is and his two faces. Lisa desperately asking if Alfredo can win, Ricardo suggested that she would be better asking god.

Part III

Sendō in Mexico Arc

When Alfredo learned that Ricardo was doing a public spar session and looking for sparring partners, Lisa went with him as he drove to the J.C. Gym. As she asked what he is planning to do, Alfredo answered that he will make Ricardo acknowledge his rematch requests with his fists by downing him. As Alfredo drove away from the gym, Lisa learned from Alfredo about how his next match is set for Ricardo after fighting against Takeshi Sendō, who downed Ricardo.

Deathmatch in Mexico Arc

While Alfredo was having a match against Sendō, Lisa was approached by a group of three children, asking her to come watch Alfredo's match on TV. One of the children mentioned how Alfredo took them off the street and let them sleep at his gym while also teaching them boxing, something Lisa recognised that Ricardo did for Alfredo in the past and wonders if challenging Ricardo a third time is special, as she thought Alfredo's feelings reached Ricardo after his two attempts. Lisa told the children how Sendō is a lot like Alfredo. She followed the children as they urge her to watch. Lisa watched the match in tears as Sendō defeats Alfredo in the fourth round by knockout.

Appearance

Lisa is a very beautiful looking young woman, with medium sized straight-wavy black hair and tanned skin. She has an average height for a female.

Personality

Lisa being Alfredo's girlfriend she has shown to worry a lot of his fights, especially afraid if he gets a rematch with Ricardo Martínez again, similar to how Kumi worries for Ippo, but in a lesser way since Lisa knows boxing is Alfredo's way of living. She avoids watching him fight.^[1]
