Richard Fox (リチャード・フォックス, Richādo Fokkusu) is a middleweight professional boxer from the United States of America. He was ranked third in the WBC when he fought the WBC middleweight champion, Takamura Mamoru in his first title defence match.

Fox had a WBC middleweight title match against Takamura Mamoru scheduled. When his press conference with Takamura happened, Fox wanted to start a fight with Takamura after he made an insulting comment about his surname, calling the match a "Fox Hunt".
When Fox's WBC middleweight title match against Takamura arrived, he went to the Ryōgoku Kokugikan. When the match began, Fox was defeated in the first round by knockout.

Fox has dark skin with a muscular build. He also has dark coloured hair in an afro hairstyle, a moustache, and a beard.

Not a lot is known how he fights since the match didn't last long. According to Ippo's comment prior to the match, Richard Fox is suppose to be strong, and the fact that Takamura's "Fox Hunting" comment made him angry too.
