Summary
With Sawamura downed, Ippo excitedly tells Kumi. Nekota notes how the way Sawamura fell was too exaggerated, and Takamura adds that Sawamura has a good grasp of the timing of a counter, knowing how to hit one, and what it is like to get hit by one. Sawamura gets up at the count of eight as Mashiba expected since he felt Sawamura backing away from his fist upon impact. Nekota and Takamura comment how Sawamura knew he couldn't dodge it so he flung himself backwards, neutralising about half of the damage. Mashiba enters his Hitman Style, throwing faster Flicker Jabs, but with a simplistic rhythm due to him getting heated up. Sawamura gets hit a few times before blocking them as he starts learning the rhythm. Sawamura then begins dodging the Flicker Jabs, and does something that makes Ippo and Itagaki yell out for Mashiba to look out.
