Summary
Sendō is unable to land a single punch on Alfredo, who calmly is able to hit Sendō while keeping his distance. Sendō questions Alfredo's title of "Grim Reaper", as he remembers Japan's Grim Reaper being more vicious. Alfredo continues to hit Sendō with basic punches and counters without being hit until the first round ends. In the audience, Milo becomes worried about Sendō, wondering what he can do. Ippo knows by experience that one can get countered constantly by Alfredo's left even if they try to push into close range. At the corner, Sendō has Yanaoka to stop his nose bleed while being instructed about the Mexican lefts and how he should view Alfredo as an upgraded version of everyone he fought thus far. Sendō tells Yanaoka to just watch him, as it was his decision to fight him and his responsibility for how it ends. Ippo mentions to Milo how he believes how the match won't end with Sendō unable to do anything, because he is someone who can make the impossible possible. In round two, after being repeatedly beaten with lefts, Sendō wishes to bring out the the man hiding inside Alfredo's well mannered style that defeated Ippo..
